Rental rules at a glance

Rental Terms

• Business customers only. Rentals go to contractors and similar businesses, not consumers.
• A self-pickup rental day runs from 7:00 AM on the start date to 7:00 AM the next day. Longer rentals span additional days; delivery timing is confirmed separately.
• The self-pickup rate is $59 per rental day. It covers use of the trailer only - no disposal, dump fees, dump runs, fuel or loading. Delivery and empty pickup are a separately priced service.
• The 25% reservation payment is 25% of the full order total, including rental, delivery and applicable tax. It is charged when you reserve, credited in full toward this reservation, and refunded in full if we cannot have the trailer ready as promised. The remaining 75% is charged automatically approximately 48 hours before pickup or delivery.
• The trailer must be empty when returned or collected. We do not collect loaded trailers and we do not transport loads to a landfill.
• Materials must be declared when you reserve and follow the Material Rules. Concrete requires written approval. Prohibited and overweight uses are refused.
• Towing is reviewed before pickup under the Towing Requirements. Truck make and model alone do not constitute approval.
• A delivered trailer is delivered empty and must be empty when collected. Moving it yourself during the rental requires the same towing review as self-pickup.
• Security hold or deposit - $250. Handled separately approximately 24 hours before pickup or delivery: a temporary hold for 1–2 rental days or a refundable deposit charge for 3 or more rental days. After return and inspection, RampUp releases the hold or refunds the charged deposit, less documented amounts properly due. It is not part of the 25% reservation payment.
• Card on file. The payment provider retains a payment-method token for the remaining order balance. This website never stores card details.

Towing Requirements

• Every self-pickup (and any customer move of a delivered trailer) is reviewed first: truck, hitch, brake controller, tow rating and weight limits.
• Truck make and model alone do not constitute approval. An unsuitable combination is refused even if you plan to load lightly.
• The trailer certification label controls unit-specific GVWR, payload, and weight limits. Those limits must not be exceeded.
• GCWR (the maximum combined weight of truck plus trailer) is part of the review. Where combined weights make a CDL relevant, we confirm it during review.
• If your setup cannot be approved, delivered rental (we bring it and collect it empty) is usually the practical alternative.

The accepted Order and handoff instructions confirm unit-specific hitch and equipment requirements. The standard driving route used for delivery pricing only calculates distance and price. It does not provide commercial-truck routing or guarantee truck/trailer clearance or route suitability.

Privacy

• We collect what a rental needs: business and contact details, dates, declared job and material, towing details and, for delivery, the jobsite address used to price the route.
• Mapbox provides address suggestions and server-side route distance. As you type, the address text, IP address and basic browser/request data are sent to Mapbox. After you choose an address, the selected full jobsite address is sent to Mapbox through our server to verify it and calculate one-way driving distance and delivery price. This processing is temporary, and full addresses are not sent to general analytics.
• Card details go to the payment provider only. This website never sees or stores card numbers, and a stored payment method lives with the provider as a secure token.
• Contact details and full addresses never go into general analytics. Local analytics stores only delivery-price views and call clicks.
• Tracking is minimal and configurable: no chat widgets, no session recording, no ad-network scripts.
• One-time reservation-link SMS. RampUp sends one requested reservation-link text only after the caller clearly confirms the fixed verbal prompt during the call. The flow sends no recurring, follow-up, promotional or marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold, rented, shared or transferred to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Material Rules

Overweight and prohibited uses are refused - including after handoff, at your cost. If you are unsure about a load, call before you reserve.

Cancellation & Refunds

If we cannot have the trailer ready as promised, your 25% reservation payment is refunded in full. Otherwise it is credited in full toward this reservation’s order balance.
