Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to RampUp Rentals LLC and the RampUp Rentals website, reservation and rental workflows, customer-care communications, delivery and pickup coordination, and the caller-requested one-time reservation-link SMS workflow. Third-party services have their own privacy practices.

2. Information we collect

• Business and contact information: business name, representative or driver name, telephone number, email address, and other information supplied in an inquiry or Order.
• Rental and operational information: reservation details, jobsite and delivery address, material, towing vehicle and driver information, approvals, handoff and return records, photographs, video, condition, damage, customer-care requests, and communications.
• SMS records: calling mobile number, the date and method of the reservation-link request and verbal consent, the disclosure presented, the one-time message, HELP requests, and opt-out requests.
• Website and device information: IP address, browser and device information, page activity, security events, and information submitted through website tools. Google Analytics may also receive the reviewed page path, selected language, campaign identifiers in the landing URL, the origin of an external referring site, and technical device and visit information.
• Transaction information: payment status, charge or refund records, and related identifiers. Payment-card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by the RampUp website.

3. How we use information

RampUp uses information to respond to inquiries; verify business, driver, towing, material, site, and insurance information; prepare and administer Orders; schedule handoff, delivery, pickup, and return; calculate and collect authorized amounts; provide customer care; send consented communications; document condition and safety events; prevent fraud or misuse; maintain records; improve operations; enforce agreements; and comply with law.

4. Website analytics and cookies

RampUp uses Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement to understand website visits, traffic sources, language use, booking steps, and which ads lead to confirmed paid reservations. It loads automatically for standard browser sessions. Enhanced Measurement, Google Signals, and advertising personalization are disabled. First-party Analytics and Ads measurement cookies connect an ad click with later booking activity; we do not use this integration for remarketing or enhanced conversions.

RampUp does not send contact details, payment-card details, booking-form answers, precise jobsite addresses, towing information, or private checkout access identifiers to Google. For a server-verified paid reservation, measurement includes an order reference to prevent duplicate counting, currency, and the rental order value before tax and excluding refundable security deposits. Google Analytics page URLs are limited to reviewed public paths and recognized campaign parameters; arbitrary query values and fragments are excluded from those Analytics fields. Google Ads also processes public page addresses and ad-click identifiers. Our booking links use product and pickup/delivery choices rather than customer information. Private checkout access identifiers, query values, and fragments are removed from the browser address before any Google tag loads; the visible address becomes /checkout. External referrers supplied to Analytics are reduced to their origin.

You may turn analytics and Ads measurement off or back on using the analytics preferences control below. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep analytics off, including Ads measurement. Turning analytics off removes first-party Google Analytics and Ads measurement cookies where the browser permits and stops the Google tag after reload. 5. SMS privacy and consent records

RampUp may process the calling mobile number and records of a caller's request and clear verbal confirmation to send one text containing the requested reservation link to the number from which the caller is calling. A no or unclear response results in no text.

Mobile information and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, shared, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process this information only as necessary to operate and support the one-time reservation-link SMS workflow, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Frequency is one message per affirmative caller request. This workflow does not send recurring reservation, account, payment, rental-status, safety, delivery, pickup, customer-care follow-up, promotional, or marketing messages. 6. When information may be disclosed

RampUp may disclose information to service providers that support hosting, reservations, payments, mapping, communications, delivery, records, security, analytics, insurance, accounting, and professional services. Providers may use the information only for authorized services and subject to applicable confidentiality or data-protection duties.

RampUp may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect people or property, investigate fraud or misuse, enforce an agreement, address an insurance or legal claim, or complete a business transaction such as a sale or reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. The SMS non-sharing commitment in Section 5 continues to apply.

7. Website, mapping, and third-party services

Address suggestions and route calculations may be processed by a mapping provider. Reservation, payment, and communication services may be provided by specialized vendors. Their handling of information is also governed by their own terms and privacy notices. For mapping information, see the Mapbox Privacy Policy.

8. Retention and security

RampUp retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including rental administration, customer care, consent and opt-out evidence, safety, accounting, tax, insurance, dispute, and legal requirements. SMS consent evidence is retained at least until consent is withdrawn and longer when reasonably necessary or required by law.

RampUp uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and the services. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Your choices and requests

You may ask RampUp to review or correct contact information, or request deletion of information, subject to legal, safety, transaction, recordkeeping, and contractual requirements. You can change your analytics choice using the analytics preferences control below. To opt out of SMS, reply STOP. After processing the request, RampUp may send one final confirmation and will send no further SMS messages unless the recipient makes a new request and provides any consent required at that time.

10. Children

RampUp's services are offered to business customers and are not directed to children under 13. RampUp does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the services.

11. Changes to this policy

RampUp may update this policy as its services or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. A later website revision does not retroactively change an accepted Order.
