Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to RampUp Rentals LLC and the RampUp Rentals website, reservation and rental workflows, customer-care communications, delivery and pickup coordination, and the RampUp Rentals SMS Program. Third-party services have their own privacy practices.

2. Information we collect

• Business and contact information: business name, representative or driver name, telephone number, email address, and other information supplied in an inquiry or Order.
• Rental and operational information: reservation details, jobsite and delivery address, material, towing vehicle and driver information, approvals, handoff and return records, photographs, video, condition, damage, customer-care requests, and communications.
• SMS records: mobile number, the date and method of consent, the disclosure presented, message history, preferences, HELP requests, and opt-out requests.
• Website and device information: IP address, browser and device information, page activity, security events, and information submitted through website tools.
• Transaction information: payment status, charge or refund records, and related identifiers. Payment-card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by the RampUp website.

3. How we use information

RampUp uses information to respond to inquiries; verify business, driver, towing, material, site, and insurance information; prepare and administer Orders; schedule handoff, delivery, pickup, and return; calculate and collect authorized amounts; provide customer care; send consented communications; document condition and safety events; prevent fraud or misuse; maintain records; improve operations; enforce agreements; and comply with law.

4. SMS privacy and consent records

RampUp may process a mobile phone number and records of SMS consent, preferences, HELP requests, and opt-out requests to provide reservation confirmations; account, payment-state, rental-status, and safety updates; delivery and pickup scheduling; and customer-care communications.

Mobile information and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, shared, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process this information only as necessary to operate and support the messaging program, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

5. When information may be disclosed

RampUp may disclose information to service providers that support hosting, reservations, payments, mapping, communications, delivery, records, security, analytics, insurance, accounting, and professional services. Providers may use the information only for authorized services and subject to applicable confidentiality or data-protection duties.

RampUp may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect people or property, investigate fraud or misuse, enforce an agreement, address an insurance or legal claim, or complete a business transaction such as a sale or reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. The SMS non-sharing commitment in Section 4 continues to apply.

6. Website, mapping, and third-party services

Address suggestions and route calculations may be processed by a mapping provider. Reservation, payment, and communication services may be provided by specialized vendors. 7. Retention and security

RampUp retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including rental administration, customer care, consent and opt-out evidence, safety, accounting, tax, insurance, dispute, and legal requirements. SMS consent evidence is retained at least until consent is withdrawn and longer when reasonably necessary or required by law.

RampUp uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and the services. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your choices and requests

You may ask RampUp to review or correct contact information, or request deletion of information, subject to legal, safety, transaction, recordkeeping, and contractual requirements. To stop SMS messages, reply STOP. After processing the request, RampUp may send one final confirmation and will send no further SMS messages unless new affirmative consent is provided.

9. Children

RampUp's services are offered to business customers and are not directed to children under 13. RampUp does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the services.

10. Changes to this policy

RampUp may update this policy as its services or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. A later website revision does not retroactively change an accepted Order.
